Let Doc and Louie into our yard yesterday to graze down the grass. Their current pen doesn’t have much in regards to grass forage and their other one has been seeded and is growing up… so why not get a little lawn mowing out of the deal? ;) I fell asleep yesterday evening on the couch… exhausted from a quick overnight drive to Texas as back (12 hours one way). I didn’t wake up until after dark… so I decided to jut let the boys spend the night in the yard. The gate to their pasture was open, so they could get in if they wanted, but the yard is fenced as well and there’s nothing that would hurt them. Walked outside to get something out of the car around 11PM and found a giant pile of ‘apples’ on my porch… APPARENTLY someone (probably Louie’s pasture mate) wanted inside the house and was waiting at the door for a while! LOL. And this morning I found Louie asleep in the front yard:) I think they like being this close to the house… they know I’m in here.
Gypsy vanners are my favourite horses because they’re like big fancy friendly pony-cows.
More than that, their anatomical structure is quite delightful. Look at them muscles and strong, thick legs. And all that long hair on the hooves, nnf!
These horses used to be my favorite.
what did they do to make you hate them
